Recombinant Human Alpha Synuclein (A53T) Protein is expressed from E.coli without tag.It contains Met1-Ala140 (A53T) [Accession | P37840-1].
The protein has a predicted MW of 14.49 kDa same as Bis-Tris PAGE result.

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for detailed instructions.
-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.
-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.

Alpha-synuclein (α-synuclein) is a protein that is abundantly found in the brain and in a lesser amount in the heart and muscles. Its overexpression in the neurons leads to the formation of Lewy bodies that damage the dopaminergic neurons in the subtantianigra of the midbrain and leads to the progression of Parkinson's Disease (PD).
